No, you won’t be able to add epub files from other stores to Kindle. If you were using another ebook store, such as Kobo, Barnes & Noble Nook, or Google Play Books, may assume that – as these sites use epub format by default – you will be able to quickly transfer these books to the Kindle. In other words, if you want to download any book from the sites listed in the second part of this overview, please make sure to pick up epub, not mobi. The mobi format is not supported any longer.
